Description

The Welder Fantasy PULSEMIG 200 device is a modern inverter power source offering many possibilities for welding operations. Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, PULSEMIG devices are ideally suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures, and many others.

The Welder Fantasy PULSEMIG 200 device is a multifunctional 3-in-1 inverter welder designed for welding using the following methods:

  • MIG PULSE – an advanced welding method that uses the best forms of molten electrode material transfer to the welded workpiece. Unlike short-circuit transfer, pulsed welding does not generate spatter and does not risk cold laps. Welding positions in pulse mode are not limited, as they are derived from globular or spray transfer forms, and their use is significantly more efficient. By cooling the spray arc process, pulsed MIG is able to extend the welding range, and the lower heat input does not cause problems with burning through thin materials. MIG PULSE is one of the best welding processes for a wide range of applications and metal types.
  • MIG/MAG – arc welding in shielding gases is one of the most commonly used processes for manufacturing welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the welded workpiece and the consumable electrode material with the heat of an electric arc formed between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the welded part, in a shield of inert or active gas.
  • SPOT – a function used for spot tack welding of metal elements.
  • FCAW – thanks to the polarity change function, it is possible to perform gasless welding using self-shielded FCAW wire. This method uses self-shielded flux-cored wire for welding (in all positions) normal and high-strength steels up to 510 MPa. Self-shielded wire can be used in single- and multi-pass welding processes, using power sources with both flat and drooping characteristics. The wire is intended for general production work, including field conditions, and for welding structures where impact toughness requirements are not specified. Welding current DC(-).
  • TIG DC PULS lift-arc – arc ignition occurs by contacting the electrode with the welded material; the pulse function allows welding of thin elements through periodic changes in current intensity.

  • TIG DC LIFT – welding with a tungsten electrode in a shield of inert gases. The use of this method enables welding of all types of steel, i.e. carbon, alloy, stainless, acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys, e.g. bronzes or brasses.

  •

MMA DC+ – In the MMA method, a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a coating. An electric arc is generated between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arc ignition occurs by touching the end of the electrode to the welded material. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity – more heat is generated in the material and less in the electrode.
  • MMA DC- – the difference compared to MMA DC+ is that the polarity in MMA DC- mode is negative, so the heat distribution is reversed – more heat is generated at the electrode and less in the welded material.

An intuitive digital control panel allows quick adjustment of all key welding parameters. Reliability and a wide range of applications mean that PULSEMIG devices will satisfy even the most demanding users.
Versatility is one of the greatest advantages of PULSEMIG devices. The pulsed current welding function in MIG/MAG and TIG modes (with full pulse modulation) gives users unlimited possibilities when welding steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, and aluminum alloys.

The PULSEMIG welder enables welding of the most popular metals.

In the MIG/MAG method: carbon steels, alloy steels, aluminum alloys, as well as gasless welding using flux-cored (cored) wire FCAW.

The device allows parameter selection for performing BRAZE WELDING using CuSi wire.

In the TIG DC LIFT method, the welder enables welding of all types of steel, i.e. carbon, alloy, stainless, acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys, e.g. bronzes or brasses.

The MMA mode (coated electrode) allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.

  • ability to save 9 individual programs,
  • very wide selection of welding functions:
    • PRE and POST GAS – gas flow before and after welding.
    • INDUCTANCE – properly selected welding inductance contributes to reducing spatter. It depends on the diameter of the welding wire, the shielding gas used, the current intensity, and the welding position. Reducing inductance makes the arc more stable and concentrated, while increasing it contributes to a smoother weld pool and reduced spatter. Correctly selected inductance is characterized by a stable arc, uniform transfer of molten metal droplets, maintaining a constant weld pool size, and a characteristic repeatable sound without spatter or explosions.
    • PULS – pulsed current function, mainly used for welding thin elements (even as thin as 0.1 mm), metals with a low melting point, e.g. lead, or welding in forced positions. Other advantages of pulsed current welding include a smaller heat-affected zone, greater arc stability, greater penetration depth, and improved weld bead appearance.
    • HOT START – a function that increases current during arc ignition, making it easier to start welding.
    • ARC FORCE – a function that stabilizes the welding process by maintaining the arc voltage regardless of arc length and helps control the amount of spatter.
