Description
The multifunctional device Welder Fantasy TWINMIG II 200 is designed for manual arc welding using the GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) method - MIG/MAG, welding with self-shielded FCAW wire (without shielding gas), TIG lift, and MMA (Manual Metal Arc Welding) with a coated electrode.
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A PROTECTED AND REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF THE COMPANY FACHOWIEC.
The TWINMIG II 200 welding semi-automatic machine is the most advanced welding device on the Polish market, designed for welding materials such as carbon steels, alloy steels (stainless, acid-resistant), as well as aluminum alloys.
The welding machine features smooth adjustment of welding current, smooth inductance adjustment, smooth wire feed speed adjustment, wire feeder test, gas test, and is equipped with an overload thermal protection system preventing overheating of the device.
Thanks to the polarity change cable, it is possible to weld without shielding gas using self-shielded FCAW wire. This method uses self-shielded flux-cored wire for welding (in all positions) of normal and higher-strength steels not exceeding 510 MPa. Self-shielded wire can be used in single- and multi-layer welding processes, using power sources with both flat and drooping characteristics. The wire is intended for general production work, including field conditions, and for welding structures where impact toughness requirements are not specified. Welding current DC(-).
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the TWINMIG II 200 devices are perfectly suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures and many others.
The Welder Fantasy TWINMIG II 200 welding machine allows operation in the following modes:
AUTO - synergic settings - automatic adjustment of welding parameters such as voltage and welding arc current as well as wire feeder speed. With a single knob, the user simultaneously adjusts all the above-mentioned parameters.
MIG/MAG - Gas-shielded arc welding is one of the most widely used processes for manufacturing welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the welded workpiece and the consumable electrode material with the heat of an electric arc formed between the solid wire electrode and the welded element, under a shield of inert or active gas.
FCAW - thanks to the polarity change function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas using self-shielded FCAW wire.
TIG DC lift-arc - In the TIG method (Tungsten Inert Gas), the electric arc is struck in an inert gas shield (argon) between the welded element and a non-consumable electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In TIG lift-arc mode, arc ignition occurs when the electrode touches the welded element. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.
MMA - a method in which a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with flux. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the welded workpiece in order to maintain a constant arc length while simultaneously moving its melting end along the welding line. The device enables welding with all types of electrodes, such as basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.
MMA VRD - the VRD function (Voltage Reduction Device – module reducing the idle voltage of the device's secondary circuit) available in MMA mode increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply off and on when resistance between the electrode tip and the welded element is detected during welding.

- INDUCTANCE - properly selected welding inductance contributes to reducing spatter. It depends on the welding wire diameter, shielding gas used, current intensity and welding position. Reducing inductance makes the arc more stable and concentrated, while increasing it contributes to the formation of a more fluid weld pool and reduced spatter. Correct selection is characterized by a stable arc, uniform transfer of molten metal droplets, maintaining a constant weld pool size and a characteristic repetitive sound without spatter and explosions.
