Description
The POLIMIG series devices are characterized by the highest reliability and the ability to perform welding work over a wide range, satisfying even the most demanding users.
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A PROTECTED AND REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF FACHOWIEC - See the Certificate of Protection document
The Welder Fantasy POLIMIG device is a multifunctional 3-in-1 inverter welder designed for welding the most common metals using the following methods:
- AUTO – synergic settings – automatic adjustment of welding parameters such as arc voltage and current, as well as wire feeder speed.
- MIG/MAG – gas-shielded arc welding is one of the most commonly used processes for fabricating welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the workpiece and the consumable electrode with the heat of an electric arc that forms between the solid wire electrode and the workpiece, under a shield of inert or active gas.
- FCAW – thanks to the polarity-switching function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas using self-shielded FCAW wire. This method uses a self-shielded flux-cored wire to weld (in all positions) steel of normal and higher strength, up to 510 MPa. The self-shielded wire can be used for single and multi-pass welding with power sources of both flat and falling characteristic. It is intended for general production work, including field conditions, and for welding structures without impact toughness requirements. Welding current: DC(-).
- TIG DC-LIFT – in the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) method, the electric arc ignites in a shielding gas (argon) between the workpiece and a non-consumable electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In TIG lift-arc mode, the arc ignites when the electrode touches the workpiece. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.
- MMA DC+ – in MMA welding, a covered electrode is used, consisting of a metal core coated with flux. An electric arc forms between the electrode tip and the workpiece. Arc ignition occurs by touching the electrode tip to the workpiece. MMA DC+ indicates welding with positive polarity – more heat is released in the workpiece and less in the electrode.
- MMA DC – the difference from MMA DC+ is that the polarity is negative in MMA DC mode, so heat distribution is reversed – more heat is released at the electrode and less in the welded material.
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, it is ideal for professional welding tasks in the automotive industry, steel constructions, and others.
The device allows selecting parameters for soldering processes using CuSi wire.
Additionally, the POLIMIG welder has preloaded synergic programs that optimize MIG/MAG welding for carbon steels, stainless steels, and aluminum alloys. The device selects welding parameters based on the wire diameter, type, and set welding voltage.
In TIG DC LIFT mode, the welder enables welding of all types of steel: carbon, alloyed, stainless, acid-resistant, as well as copper alloys such as bronzes and brasses.
MMA mode (covered electrodes) allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g., basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.
