Description
The Welder Fantasy PERFECT BI-PULSE 351 device is a modern, synergic inverter power source integrated with a cooling unit and trolley, offering many possibilities for welding applications. Its main advantages include the ability to weld using single or double pulse current in MIG or MAG mode, as well as the option to use synergic settings.
Reliability and a wide range of applications ensure that the devices satisfy even the most demanding users. The multifunctional inverter welding semi-automatic machine Welder Fantasy PERFECT BI-PULSE 351, equipped with a 4-roll wire feeder, is designed for manual arc welding of metals and metal alloys using the following methods:
- MIG/MAG with double pulse option,
- MIG/MAG with single pulse option,
- MIG/MAG – continuous welding,
- Brazing,
- SPOT welding,
- MMA,
- FCAW,
- TIG Lift
The intuitive and easy-to-use control panel allows quick setting of all key welding parameters. The user can choose one of five menu languages:
- Polish
- English
- German
- French
- Czech
Thanks to synergic settings, it is possible to automatically select welding parameters according to the welding wire diameter as well as the thickness and type of material.
The device features smooth voltage and welding current adjustment and is equipped with an overload thermal protection system protecting against excessive overheating of integrated circuits.
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the Welder Fantasy PERFECT BI-PULSE 351 devices are perfectly suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures, and many others.
IGBT technology - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and fast switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operating time of welding devices.
AUTO - synergic settings - automatic adjustment of welding parameters such as voltage, welding arc current, and wire feed speed. The device automatically selects welding parameters according to the wire diameter as well as the thickness and type of material.
MIG/MAG - Gas-shielded arc welding is one of the most widely used processes for manufacturing welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the welded workpiece and the consumable electrode material using the heat of an electric arc formed between the solid wire electrode and the welded element, under a shield of inert or active gas.
MIG PULSE - an advanced welding form that utilizes the best characteristics of molten electrode material transfer to the workpiece. Unlike short-circuit transfer, pulsed welding does not generate spatter and does not pose the risk of cold laps. Welding positions in pulse mode are not limited, as they are derived from globular or spray transfer forms, and their use is significantly more efficient. By cooling the spray arc process, pulsed MIG extends the welding range, and the lower heat input prevents burn-through of thin materials. MIG PULSE is one of the best welding processes for a wide range of applications and metal types.
MIG DOUBLE PULSE - When welding using the MIG/MAG method with double pulse, a high-quality weld face appearance (scale effect) is achieved. Additionally, the use of automatic wire feeding increases welding efficiency. The MIG/MAG double pulse method allows adjustment of current pulsation (pulse balance) and wire feed speed. This makes it possible to improve the weld appearance. During MIG/MAG double pulse welding, current pulses occur in two ranges. The sequential system of our devices automatically combines two pulse levels: hot and cold.
The advantages of using the MIG/MAG double pulse method include:
- MIG/MAG double pulse welding is faster than TIG welding.
- MIG/MAG double pulse welding achieves high aesthetics similar to TIG.
- MIG/MAG double pulse welding causes less distortion than TIG.
FCAW - Thanks to the polarity change function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas using self-shielded FCAW wire. This method uses self-shielded flux-cored wire for welding (in all positions) of normal and higher-strength steels not exceeding 510 MPa. Self-shielded wire can be used in single- and multi-layer welding processes, using power sources with both flat and drooping characteristics. The wire is intended for general production work, including field conditions, and for welding structures where impact toughness requirements are not specified. Welding current DC(-).
TIG DC LIFT - welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield. This method allows welding of all types of steel, including carbon, alloy, stainless, acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys such as bronzes or brasses.
MMA - a method using a coated electrode consisting of a metal core covered with flux. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the welded workpiece to maintain a constant arc length while moving its melting end along the welding line. The device enables welding with all types of electrodes, such as basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.
MMA VRD - the VRD function (Voltage Reduction Device – module reducing the idle voltage of the device’s secondary circuit) available in MMA mode increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply off and on when resistance between the electrode tip and the welded element is detected during welding.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inductance adjustment in MIG/MAG mode. Properly selected welding inductance reduces spatter. It depends on the welding wire diameter, shielding gas used, current intensity, and welding position. Reducing inductance makes the arc more stable and concentrated, while increasing it contributes to a more fluid weld pool and reduced spatter. Correct selection is characterized by a stable arc, uniform transfer of molten metal droplets, maintaining a constant weld pool size, and a characteristic repetitive sound without spatter and explosions.
- Brazing - the device enables brazing, mainly used in the automotive industry for joining galvanized sheets.
- SPOT welding - timed welding function used for tack welding components, enabling uniform weld lengths.
- Arc ignition via: 2T - two-stroke, 4T - four-stroke, S-2T - special two-stroke (possibility of setting additional parameters), S-4T - special four-stroke (possibility of setting additional parameters).
- PRE GAS - adjustment of shielding gas flow time before welding.
- POST GAS - adjustment of shielding gas flow time after welding.
- HOT START - function facilitating arc ignition in MMA mode. At the moment of arc ignition, the welding current is temporarily increased to heat the material and electrode at the contact point and properly form penetration and weld face in the initial welding phase.
- ARC FORCE - function stabilizing the arc by maintaining arc voltage regardless of its length and facilitating control over spatter.
- VRD - reduced no-load voltage.
