Description

The device Welder Fantasy PERFECT BI-PULSE 351 is a modern, synergic inverter power source offering many possibilities for welding tasks. Its main advantages include the ability to weld using single or double pulse current in MIG or MAG mode, as well as the option to use synergic settings.

Reliability and a wide range of applications make these devices satisfy even the most demanding users. The multifunctional inverter semi-automatic Welder Fantasy PERFECT BI-PULSE 351, equipped with a 4-roll wire feeder, is designed for manual arc welding of metals and metal alloys using the following methods:

  • MIG/MAG with double pulse option,
  • MIG/MAG with single pulse option,
  • MIG/MAG - continuous welding,
  • Braze welding,
  • Spot welding SPOT,
  • MMA,
  • FCAW,
  • TIG Lift

The intuitive, user-friendly control panel allows for quick adjustment of all essential welding parameters. The user can select one of five menu languages:

  • Polish
  • English
  • German
  • French
  • Czech

Thanks to synergic settings, it is possible to automatically select welding parameters based on the welding wire diameter and the thickness and type of material.

The device features smooth adjustment of welding voltage and current, and is equipped with an overload thermal protection system to prevent excessive heating of the internal circuits.

Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the Welder Fantasy PERFECT BI-PULSE 351 devices are ideal for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal construction, and many others.

IGBT technology - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the easy control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. Using IGBT technology significantly increases the reliable operation of welding devices.

AUTO - synergic settings - automatic adjustment of welding parameters such as arc voltage, current, and wire feed speed. The device automatically selects welding parameters based on wire diameter, material thickness, and type.

MIG/MAG - Arc welding with gas shielding is one of the most widely used processes for fabricating welded structures. Semi-automatic welding involves melting the edges of the workpiece and the consumable electrode material using the heat of an electric arc striking between a solid wire electrode and the workpiece, under a shield of inert or active gas.

MIG PULSE - an advanced form of welding that uses the best methods of transferring molten electrode material to the workpiece. Unlike short-circuit welding, pulse welding minimizes spatter and avoids cold laps. Welding positions in pulse mode are not limited, as they are derived from globular or spray transfer modes, making it more efficient. By cooling the spray arc, pulsed MIG extends welding capabilities and reduces heat input, preventing burn-through of thin materials. MIG PULSE is one of the best welding processes for a wide range of applications and metals.

MIG DOUBLE PULSE - Using MIG/MAG double pulse achieves a high-quality surface finish (scaly effect). Automatic wire feeding increases welding efficiency. Double pulse MIG/MAG allows adjustment of current pulse (pulse balance) and wire feed speed, enhancing weld appearance. During MIG/MAG double pulse welding, current pulses occur in two ranges. The sequential system in our devices automatically combines two pulse levels: hot and cold.

Benefits of MIG/MAG double pulse method:

  • MIG/MAG double pulse welding is faster than TIG welding.
  • MIG/MAG double pulse welding achieves aesthetics comparable to TIG welding.
  • MIG/MAG double pulse welding causes less distortion than TIG welding.

FCAW - With polarity switching, welding without shielding gas using self-shielded FCAW wire is possible. This method uses self-shielded flux-cored wire for welding (all positions) of normal and high-strength steel, up to 510 MPa. The self-shielded wire can be used in single or multi-pass welding, with current sources of flat or falling characteristic. It is suitable for general production work, including field conditions, and for structures not requiring impact resistance. Welding current is DC(-).

TIG DC LIFT - Tungsten electrode welding under inert gas shielding. This method allows welding of all types of steel: carbon, alloyed, stainless, acid-resistant, and copper alloys such as bronze or brass.

MMA - A method using a covered electrode with a metal core coated in flux. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts to maintain a stable arc while moving its molten tip along the weld seam. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g., basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.

MMA VRD - The MMA mode includes the VRD function (Voltage Reduction Device), reducing open-circuit voltage in the secondary circuit. It increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function turns welding power on/off if resistance is detected between the electrode tip and the workpiece during welding.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Inductance adjustment in MIG/MAG - Proper inductance reduces spatter. It depends on wire diameter, shielding gas, current, and welding position. Lower inductance makes the arc more concentrated and stable; higher inductance produces a smoother weld pool and reduces spatter. Correctly set, it ensures a stable arc, uniform droplet transfer, consistent weld pool, and repeatable sound without spatter or explosions.
  • Braze welding - Allows braze welding, mainly used in automotive industry for joining galvanized sheets.
  • Spot welding SPOT - Time-controlled welding for joining parts, ensuring uniform weld lengths.
  • Arc ignition via: 2T - two-stroke, 4T - four-stroke, S-2T - two-stroke special (additional parameters adjustable), S-4T - four-stroke special (additional parameters adjustable).
  • PRE GAS - adjustment of shielding gas flow before welding.
  • POST GAS - adjustment of shielding gas flow after welding.
  • HOT START - facilitates starting MMA welding. Arc ignition temporarily increases welding current to heat material and electrode for proper penetration and initial weld bead formation.
  • ARC FORCE - stabilizes the arc by maintaining arc voltage regardless of length, and helps control spatter.
  • VRD - reduced open-circuit voltage.
