Description
The multifunctional device Welder Fantasy MAGIC MIG II 350 is designed for manual arc welding using the GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) method - MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA (Manual Metal Arc Welding).
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A PROTECTED AND REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF THE COMPANY FACHOWIEC.
The Welder Fantasy MAGIC MIG II 350 is a modern, synergic inverter power source offering many possibilities for welding applications. Its main advantage is the ability to weld in synergic MIG/MAG mode. The reliability and wide range of applications of these devices make them suitable even for the most demanding users.
The intuitive and easy-to-use control panel with a color display allows quick adjustment of all the most important welding parameters.
Thanks to synergic settings, it is possible to automatically select welding parameters according to the welding wire diameter as well as the thickness and type of material.
The device features smooth regulation of welding voltage and current and is equipped with an overload thermal protection system that protects against excessive overheating of integrated circuits.
The Welder Fantasy MAGIC MIG II 350 welding machine allows operation in the following modes:
- MIG/MAG
- FCAW,
- TIG DC lift
- MMA - shielded electrode welding.
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the WELDER FANTASY MAGIC MIG II 350 devices are perfectly suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures, and many others.
IGBT Technology - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable service life of welding devices.
AUTO - synergic settings - automatic adjustment of welding parameters such as voltage and welding arc current as well as wire feed speed. The device automatically selects welding parameters according to the wire diameter and the thickness and type of material.
MIG/MAG - Gas-shielded arc welding is one of the most widely used processes for manufacturing welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the welded workpiece and the consumable electrode material with the heat of an electric arc formed between the solid wire electrode and the welded element, under a shield of inert or active gas.
FCAW - Thanks to the polarity change function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas using self-shielded FCAW wire. This method uses self-shielded flux-cored wire for welding (in all positions) of normal and higher-strength steels not exceeding 510 MPa. Self-shielded wire can be used in single- and multi-layer welding processes, with power sources featuring both flat and drooping characteristics. The wire is intended for general production work, including field conditions, and for welding structures where impact toughness requirements are not specified. Welding current DC(-).
TIG DC LIFT - welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield. The application of this method enables welding of all types of steel, including carbon, alloy, stainless, acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys such as bronze and brass.
MMA - a method in which a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with flux. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the welded workpiece in order to maintain a constant arc length while simultaneously moving its melting end along the welding line. The device enables welding with all types of electrodes, such as basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.
MMA VRD - the VRD function (Voltage Reduction Device – module reducing the idle voltage of the device’s secondary circuit) available in MMA mode increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply off and on when resistance between the electrode tip and the welded element is detected during welding.
SPOOL GUN - possibility of using a SPOOL GUN type torch with a built-in wire feeder (the torch is not included in the set and is available under code MM2S). The method allows welding both with shielding gas and with self-shielded wire without gas.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inductance adjustment in MIG/MAG method. Properly selected welding inductance contributes to reducing spatter. It depends on the welding wire diameter, shielding gas used, current intensity, and welding position. Reducing inductance makes the arc more stable and concentrated, while increasing it contributes to a smoother weld pool and reduced spatter. Correct selection is characterized by a stable arc, uniform transfer of molten metal droplets, maintaining a constant weld pool size, and a characteristic repetitive sound without spatter and explosions.
- Arc ignition via: 2T - two-step, 4T - four-step.
- HOT START - a function that facilitates starting MMA welding. At the moment of arc ignition, the welding current is temporarily increased to heat the material and electrode at the contact point and to properly shape the penetration and weld face in the initial phase of welding.
- ARC FORCE - a function that stabilizes the arc by maintaining the welding arc voltage value regardless of its length and facilitates control over the amount of spatter.
