Description
The multifunction device Welder Fantasy MAGIC MIG II 300 is designed for manual arc welding using the GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) method – MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA (Manual Metal Arc Welding).
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A PROTECTED AND REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF FACHOWIEC.
The Welder Fantasy MAGIC MIG II 300 is a modern, synergic inverter power source offering many possibilities for welding applications. Its main advantage is the ability to weld in synergic MIG/MAG mode. Reliability and a wide range of applications make it suitable even for the most demanding users.
The intuitive and easy-to-use control panel with a color display allows quick adjustment of all key welding parameters.
Thanks to synergic settings, welding parameters can be automatically selected according to the welding wire diameter as well as the thickness and type of material.
The device features smooth voltage and welding current adjustment and is equipped with a thermal overload protection system that prevents overheating of integrated circuits.
The Welder Fantasy MAGIC MIG II 300 welding machine allows operation in the following modes:
- MIG/MAG
- FCAW,
- TIG DC lift
- MMA – shielded electrode welding.
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the WELDER FANTASY MAGIC MIG II 300 devices are ideal for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures, and many others.
IGBT - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and fast switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
AUTO - synergic settings – automatic adjustment of welding parameters such as arc voltage, welding current and wire feed speed. The device automatically selects parameters according to wire diameter and material thickness and type.
MIG/MAG - Gas shielded arc welding is one of the most commonly used processes for manufacturing welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process involves melting the edges of the workpiece and the consumable electrode material with the heat of an electric arc formed between a solid wire electrode and the workpiece, in a shield of inert or active gas.
FCAW - Thanks to polarity change capability, welding without shielding gas is possible using self-shielded FCAW wire. This method uses self-shielded flux-cored wire for welding (in all positions) of normal and higher-strength steels up to 510 MPa. The wire can be used in single- and multi-layer welding processes with power sources featuring both flat and drooping characteristics. It is intended for general production work, including field conditions, and for welding structures without impact resistance requirements. Welding current DC(-).
TIG DC LIFT - welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield. This method allows welding of all types of steel, including carbon, alloy, stainless and acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys such as bronze and brass.
MMA - a method using a coated electrode consisting of a metal core covered with flux. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the workpiece to maintain a constant arc length while moving the molten end along the weld line. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.
MMA VRD - VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function available in MMA mode reduces the no-load voltage of the secondary circuit. It increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches welding power off and on when resistance between the electrode and the workpiece is detected during welding.
SPOOL GUN - possibility of using a SPOOL GUN torch with a built-in wire feeder (torch not included, available under code MM2S). The method enables welding both with shielding gas and with self-shielded wire without gas.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inductance adjustment in MIG/MAG mode. Properly selected welding inductance reduces spatter. It depends on wire diameter, shielding gas used, welding current and welding position. Lower inductance makes the arc more stable and concentrated, while higher inductance produces a smoother weld pool and reduces spatter. Proper adjustment ensures a stable arc, uniform droplet transfer, consistent weld pool size and a characteristic repeatable sound without spatter or explosions.
- Arc ignition via: 2T – two-step, 4T – four-step.
- HOT START - function facilitating arc ignition in MMA mode. When the arc is struck, the welding current is temporarily increased to heat the material and electrode at the contact point and properly form penetration and weld face at the initial stage.
- ARC FORCE - function stabilizing the arc by maintaining arc voltage regardless of its length and helping to control spatter.
