Description
The Welder Fantasy PARTNER II 200 DC device is designed for welding using the TIG DC (Tungsten Inert Gas) method in shielding of inert gases and MMA (shielded electrode).
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A PROTECTED AND REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF THE FACHOWIEC COMPANY.
The Welder Fantasy PARTNER II 200 DC devices in the new, improved version are microprocessor-based welding power sources built on IGBT technology, adapted for welding carbon steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, copper, brass, magnesium, and titanium.
The reliability and wide range of applications of the devices ensure satisfaction even for the most demanding users.
An intuitive, easy-to-use control panel with a color touch display allows quick setting of all the most important welding parameters.
The welding machine allows operation in the following modes:
- TIG DC+ / DC-
- TIG PULSE DC+ / DC-
- MMA DC+ / DC-
DEVICE FUNCTIONS:
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the PARTNER II 200 DC devices are ideally suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures, and many others.
IGBT Technology - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operating time of welding equipment.
TIG DC lift-arc - In the TIG method (Tungsten Inert Gas), the electric arc is ignited in an inert gas shield (argon) between the welded element and a non-consumable electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives. In TIG lift-arc mode, arc ignition occurs when the electrode touches the welded element. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.
TIG DC HF - In order to completely eliminate the possibility of contaminating the weld with tungsten, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the welded element; for this purpose, non-contact arc ignition is used by means of high-frequency discharges generated by the ionizer built into the device.
TIG DC PULSE lift-arc - arc ignition occurs through contact of the electrode with the welded material; the pulse function allows welding of thin elements through periodic changes in current intensity.
TIG DC PULSE HF - non-contact HF ignition using an ionizer in TIG DC PULSE mode
MMA - a method in which a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with flux coating. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the welded object to maintain an arc of constant length while simultaneously moving its melting end along the welding line. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g., basic, cellulose, rutile, or acidic.
MMA VRD - the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device – module reducing the idle (no-load) voltage of the device’s secondary circuit) function available in MMA mode. It increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply off and on when resistance between the electrode tip and the welded element is detected during welding.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- SAVE / LOAD - the device allows saving and later recalling user programs. Up to 10 individual user programs can be stored in the device memory.
- 2T/4T - selection of the operating mode of the welding torch button in the TIG method between two-stroke and four-stroke.
- PRE and POST GAS - setting the gas flow time before arc ignition and after welding.
- UP and DOWN SLOPE - setting the rise and fall time of the welding current.
- HOT START - a function facilitating the start of welding. At the moment of arc ignition, the welding current is temporarily increased to heat the material and electrode at the contact point and to properly shape penetration and the weld face in the initial phase of welding.
- ARC FORCE - a function stabilizing the arc by maintaining the welding arc voltage value regardless of its length and facilitating control over the amount of spatter.
