Description
Devices Welder Fantasy LUX TIG 202 AC/DC are microprocessor-based welding power sources built using IGBT technology, designed for welding carbon steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, copper, brass, magnesium, titanium and all aluminium alloys.
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF THE COMPANY FACHOWIEC.
The Welder Fantasy LUX TIG 202 AC/DC device is a modern inverter power source offering many possibilities when performing welding work. The reliability and wide range of applications of the LUX TIG series devices make them satisfy even the most demanding users.
An intuitive, easy-to-use control panel with a color display allows quick setting of all the most important welding parameters.
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the LUX TIG 202 AC/DC device is perfectly suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures and many others.
IGBT Technology – Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor – is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operating time of welding equipment.
The LUX TIG 202 AC/DC welding machine allows operation in the following modes:
TIG DC HF – To completely eliminate the possibility of contaminating the weld with tungsten, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the welded element; for this purpose, non-contact arc ignition is used by means of high-frequency discharges generated by the ionizer built into the device.
TIG DC PULS HF – HF non-contact ignition using an ionizer in TIG DC PULS mode.
TIG AC HF – an analogous function enabling aluminium welding with alternating current; ignition occurs without contact via high-frequency current generated by the ionizer.
TIG AC PULS HF – a function enabling welding of thin aluminium elements. Non-contact ignition thanks to the use of an ionizer.
MMA DC+ – In the MMA method a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with flux coating. An electric arc is created between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arc ignition occurs by touching the end of the electrode to the welded material. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity – more heat is generated in the material and less in the electrode.
MMA DC- – the difference compared to MMA DC+ is that the polarity in MMA DC- mode is negative, therefore the heat distribution is reversed – more heat is generated on the electrode and less in the welded material.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- TIG SPOT spot welding – the device enables auxiliary tack welds in spot welding mode with a time range of 0.5–10 seconds.
- Electrode diameter selection – the device allows selecting the electrode diameter and thus shaping (rounding of the sharpened electrode for better electron transmission); the function is dedicated to AC current.
- 2T/4T/SPOT – selection of the welding torch button operating mode in the TIG method between two-stroke, four-stroke and spot mode.
- PRE and POST GAS – setting the gas flow time before arc ignition and after welding.
- UP and DOWN SLOPE – setting the rise and fall of the welding current.
