Description
The Welder Fantasy BI-POWER TIG 320 PERFECT AC/DC devices are microprocessor-based welding power sources built on IGBT technology, designed for welding carbon steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, copper, brass, magnesium, titanium, and all aluminum alloys.
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF THE COMPANY FACHOWIEC.
The Welder Fantasy BI-POWER 320 TIG PERFECT AC/DC device is a modern inverter power source offering many possibilities when performing welding work. The reliability and wide range of applications of the BI-POWER series devices make them suitable even for the most demanding users.
An intuitive and easy-to-use control panel with a color display allows quick setting of all the most important welding parameters. The device allows selecting one of four menu languages:
- Polish,
- English,
- German,
- French.
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the BI-POWER 320 TIG PERFECT AC/DC devices are ideal for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal construction, and many others.
IGBT Technology – Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - this is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operating life of welding equipment.
The BI-POWER 3200 TIG PERFECT AC/DC welder allows operation in the following modes:
TIG AUTO – synergic settings. In AUTO mode the user selects basic welding parameters such as the type of material and the thickness of the welded material. The remaining parameters are automatically selected by the device using a database of built-in programs.
TIG DC LIFT - welding with a tungsten electrode in a shielding gas atmosphere. The use of this method allows welding all types of steel, including carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys such as bronzes or brasses.
TIG DC HF - In order to completely eliminate the possibility of tungsten contamination of the weld, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the welded element; for this purpose, non-contact arc ignition is used with the help of high-frequency discharges generated by the ionizer built into the device.
TIG DC PULS lift-arc - the arc is ignited by contact of the electrode with the welded material, and the pulse function allows welding thin elements by periodically changing the current intensity.
TIG DC PULS HF - non-contact HF ignition using an ionizer in TIG DC PULS mode
TIG AC lift-arc - a function allowing aluminum welding using alternating current, which performs a cathodic cleaning function during aluminum welding. Thanks to the possibility of setting the AC BALANCE parameter, i.e. the balance of alternating current, it is possible to regulate the ratio of the duration of its phases relative to each other.
TIG AC HF - an analogous function enabling aluminum welding with alternating current, where ignition occurs without contact through a high-frequency current generated by the ionizer
TIG AC PULS lift-arc - welding in this mode combines the use of alternating current with a pulse, which enables welding of very thin aluminum elements. Arc ignition occurs through contact of the electrode with the welded material.
TIG AC PULS HF - a function enabling welding of thin aluminum elements. Non-contact ignition thanks to the use of an ionizer.
MMA DC+ - In the MMA method a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with flux coating. An electric arc is produced between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arc ignition occurs by touching the end of the electrode to the welded material. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity – more heat is generated in the material and less in the electrode.
MMA DC- - the difference compared to MMA DC+ is that the polarity in MMA DC mode is negative, therefore the heat distribution is reversed – more heat is generated in the electrode and less in the welded material.
MMA VRD DC+ - the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device – a module reducing the idle (no-load) voltage of the device’s secondary circuit) function available in MMA DC+ mode. It increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply on and off when resistance between the electrode tip and the welded element is measured during welding.
MMA VRD DC- - the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function available in MMA DC- mode works analogously to MMA VRD DC+, the difference being negative polarity.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- WAVEFORM SELECTION - the device allows selection of the following AC waveform shapes: square, sinusoidal, triangular, rising triangular, falling triangular.
- 2T/4T - selection of the welding torch trigger operating mode in the TIG method between two-stroke and four-stroke.
- 4T BiLEVEL - TIG welding with the possibility of changing voltage and welding current between two different values without extinguishing the electric arc.
- C-SPOT - continuous spot welding. After setting the weld duration time and pause time, spot welding can be performed continuously. The function guarantees uniform spot joints throughout the entire cycle.
- PRE and POST GAS - setting the gas flow time before arc ignition and after welding.
- UP and DOWN SLOPE - setting the rise and fall of the welding current.
- HOT START - a function facilitating the start of welding. At the moment of arc ignition the welding current is temporarily increased in order to heat the material and electrode at the contact point and properly shape the penetration and weld face in the initial phase of welding.
- ARC FORCE - a function stabilizing the arc by maintaining the welding arc voltage regardless of its length and helping to control the amount of spatter.
- 18 programs - the possibility to save up to 18 programs in the device memory.
