Description

The Welder Fantasy BI-POWER TIG 210 AC/DC devices are microprocessor-controlled welding power sources based on IGBT technology, designed for welding carbon steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, copper, brass, magnesium, titanium, and all aluminum alloys.

"WELDER FANTASY" IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF THE FACHOWIEC COMPANY.

The Welder Fantasy BI-POWER 210 TIG AC/DC device is a modern inverter power source offering many possibilities when performing welding work. The reliability and wide range of applications of the BI-POWER series devices ensure that they will satisfy even the most demanding users.

The intuitive, easy-to-use control panel with a color display allows quick setting of all the most important welding parameters. The device allows selecting one of four menu languages:

  • Polish,
  • English,
  • German,
  • French.

The BI-POWER 210 TIG AC/DC welder allows operation in the following modes:

  • TIG AUTO
  • TIG DC-lift,
  • TIG DC HF
  • TIG DC-lift PULS
  • TIG DC HF PULS
  • TIG AC-lift,
  • TIG AC HF
  • TIG AC-lift PULS
  • TIG AC HF PULS
  • MMA (shielded electrode welding)

DEVICE FUNCTIONS:

Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the BI-POWER 210 TIG AC/DC devices are perfectly suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures, and many others.

IGBT Technology - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operating life of welding devices.

TIG AUTO – synergic settings. In AUTO mode the user selects basic welding parameters such as the type of material and the thickness of the welded material. The remaining parameters are automatically selected by the device using a built-in database of programs.

TIG DC LIFT - welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield. The use of this method allows welding of all types of steels, including carbon, alloy, stainless and acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys such as bronzes or brasses.

TIG DC HF - In order to completely eliminate the possibility of contaminating the weld with tungsten, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the welded element; for this purpose non-contact arc ignition is used by means of high-frequency discharges generated by the ionizer built into the device.

TIG DC PULS lift-arc - arc ignition occurs by contact of the electrode with the welded material. The pulse function allows welding thin elements by periodic changes in current intensity.

TIG DC PULS HF - HF non-contact ignition using the ionizer in TIG DC PULS mode.

TIG AC lift-arc - a function that allows welding aluminum using alternating current, which performs the function of cathodic cleaning during aluminum welding. Thanks to the ability to set the AC BALANCE parameter, it is possible to adjust the ratio of the duration of its phases relative to each other.

TIG AC HF - an analogous function enabling welding of aluminum with alternating current; ignition occurs without contact through high-frequency current generated by the ionizer.

TIG AC PULS lift-arc - welding in this mode combines the use of alternating current with pulse, enabling welding of very thin aluminum elements. Arc ignition occurs by contact of the electrode with the welded material.

TIG AC PULS HF - a function enabling welding of thin aluminum elements. Non-contact ignition thanks to the use of an ionizer.

MMA DC+ - In the MMA method, a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with flux coating. An electric arc is generated between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arc ignition occurs by touching the electrode tip to the welded material. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity – more heat is released in the material and less in the electrode.

MMA DC- - the difference compared to MMA DC+ is that polarity in MMA DC- mode is negative, therefore the heat distribution is reversed – more heat is generated in the electrode and less in the welded material.

MMA VRD DC+ - available in MMA DC+ mode, the VRD function (Voltage Reduction Device – a module reducing the idle voltage of the device's secondary circuit). It increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply off and on when resistance between the electrode and the welded element is detected during welding.

MMA VRD DC- - available in MMA DC- mode, the VRD function works analogously to MMA VRD DC+, the difference being negative polarity.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  • WAVEFORM SELECTION - the device allows selection from the following AC waveform shapes: rectangular, sinusoidal, triangular, rising triangular, falling triangular.
  • 2T/4T - selection of the welding torch trigger operation mode in TIG method between two-stroke and four-stroke.
  • PRE and POST GAS - setting the gas flow time before arc ignition and after welding.
  • UP and DOWN SLOPE - setting the increase and decrease of welding current.
  • HOT START - a function that facilitates the start of welding. At the moment of arc ignition the welding current is temporarily increased in order to heat the material and the electrode at the contact point and properly shape the penetration and the weld face in the initial welding phase.
  • ARC FORCE - a function stabilizing the arc by maintaining the welding arc voltage regardless of its length and facilitating control over the amount of spatter.
