Description
The Welder Fantasy BI-POWER TIG 200 DC devices are microprocessor-controlled welding power sources based on IGBT technology, designed for welding carbon steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, copper, brass, magnesium, and titanium.
"WELDER FANTASY" IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF FACHOWIEC SPAWALNICTWO PNEUMATYKA.
The Welder Fantasy BI-POWER 200TIG DC device is a modern inverter power source offering many possibilities when performing welding work. The reliability and wide range of applications of the BI-POWER series devices ensure that they satisfy even the most demanding users.
The intuitive, easy-to-use control panel with a color display allows for quick setting of all the most important welding parameters. The device allows selection of one of four menu languages:
- Polish,
- English,
- German,
- French.
The BI-POWER 200 TIG DC welding machine allows operation in the following modes:
- TIG AUTO
- TIG DC-lift,
- TIG DC HF
- TIG DC- lift PULS
- TIG DC HF PULS
- MMA (shielded electrode welding)
DEVICE FUNCTIONS:
Thanks to the use of modern IGBT technology and high-quality components, the BI-POWER 200 TIG DC devices are ideally suited for professional welding work in industries such as automotive, metal structures, and many others.
IGBT Technology – Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor – is a modern technology based on insulated gate bipolar transistors. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation time of welding devices.
TIG AUTO – synergic settings. In AUTO mode, the user selects basic welding parameters such as the type of material and the thickness of the material being welded. The remaining parameters are selected automatically by the device using a database of preloaded programs.
TIG DC LIFT - welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield. The use of this method enables welding of all types of steel, i.e. carbon, alloy, stainless, acid-resistant steels, as well as copper alloys such as bronzes or brasses.
TIG DC HF - In order to completely eliminate the possibility of contaminating the weld with tungsten, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the welded element; for this purpose, non-contact arc ignition is used by means of high-frequency discharges generated by the ionizer built into the device.
TIG DC PULS lift-arc – arc ignition occurs through contact of the electrode with the welded material; the pulse function allows welding of thin elements through periodic changes in current intensity.
TIG DC PULS HF – non-contact HF ignition using an ionizer in TIG DC PULS mode
MMA DC+ – In the MMA method, a coated electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with flux. An electric arc is generated between the end of the electrode and the welded material. Arc ignition occurs by touching the end of the electrode to the welded material. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity – more heat is generated in the material and less in the electrode.
MMA DC- - the difference compared to MMA DC+ is that the polarity in MMA DC- mode is negative, therefore the heat distribution is reversed – more heat is generated in the electrode and less in the welded material.
MMA VRD DC+ - available in MMA DC+ mode, the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device – module reducing the idle (no-load) voltage of the device’s secondary circuit) function increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply off and on when, during welding, resistance between the electrode tip and the welded element is measured.
MMA VRD DC- - available in MMA DC- mode, the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function operates analogously to MMA VRD DC+, the difference being the negative polarity.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- 2T/4T BI-LEVEL/SPOT – selection of the welding torch button operating mode in the TIG method between two-stroke, four-stroke, and SPOT spot welding function.
- PRE and POST GAS – setting the gas flow time before arc ignition and after welding.
- UP and DOWN SLOPE – setting the rise and fall time of the welding current.
- HOT START – a function facilitating the start of welding. At the moment of arc ignition, the welding current is temporarily increased in order to heat the material and the electrode at the contact point and to properly shape the penetration and the weld face in the initial phase of welding.
- ARC FORCE – a function stabilizing the arc by maintaining the welding arc voltage value regardless of its length and facilitating control over the amount of spatter.
